Ready for Citizenship? Let’s Get the Application Right.
Reaching the required years in Cyprus is an important milestone. But citizenship isn’t granted automatically once you reach it.
Your residence history, travel dates, Greek-language evidence, Cyprus knowledge, financial position and supporting documents must all support the application.
NAKLAW guides you through the Cyprus Naturalization Process, turning your eligibility into a properly prepared M127 citizenship application.
[Start My Naturalization Application]
You don’t need to understand the entire naturalization procedure before contacting us.
Just tell us where you are.
We first check your residence history and the applicable citizenship route.
We review what you have and identify anything still missing.
We prepare the M127 file and guide you through the required submission procedure.
Not sure whether you are ready?
That is part of the service.
We check residence, absences and the requirements relevant to your route.
We give you a clear document list and review each part of the file.
We organize the application and supporting documents for filing.
We guide you through signing, fees and submission at the relevant authority.
The Ministry of Interior currently requires naturalization-by-residence applications to be submitted using Form M127 at the local District Administration Office. A Registrar must sign the application in your presence.
One process. Four clear stages.
You do not need to guess what citizenship authorities want to see. The current official checklist includes evidence covering four main areas:
Birth certificate, passport and Cyprus criminal-record certificate.
Residence permit, passport travel stamps and detailed arrival/departure record.
Required Greek-language evidence and Cyprus knowledge examination certificate.
Accommodation and stable financial-resource evidence.
This is where legal support matters most. A passport, residence permit and employment contract may all be valid individually—but the complete application still needs to tell one consistent story.
| We Review | What We Look For |
|---|---|
| Residence dates | Whether your qualifying residence period is correctly calculated. |
| Travel history | Whether arrivals, departures and passport records align. |
| Greek evidence | Whether you have the correct language level for your route. |
| Cyprus knowledge | Whether the required examination evidence is in place. |
| Income & accommodation | Whether the evidence supports your stable life in Cyprus. |
| Certificates | Whether required documents are properly certified and translated. |
Supporting documents for the M127 application must be duly certified and translated where required.
Our aim is simple: find the gaps before the authority does.
Once the file is ready:
M127 READY → SIGN BEFORE REGISTRAR → PAY FEES → SUBMIT → APPLICATION EXAMINED
For Cyprus residents, submit citizenship applications through the relevant District Administration Office.
The current naturalization application costs are:
| Application Fee | Stamps | After Approval |
|---|---|---|
| €500 | 2 × €8.54 | €500 for the naturalization certificate |
You must pay the additional €500 if the application is approved and the naturalization certificate is issued.
Naturalization is the final stage of years spent building your legal life in Cyprus. It deserves more than a last-minute form check.
